Bitika (she/hers) is a Sikh, a lifelong learner, a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and most importantly, a sangat member who cares deeply for her panth.
Bitika is a dedicated family physician committed to supporting families in achieving their optimal mental, physical, and spiritual health. Specializing in disability medicine, she serves as a primary physician for individuals with autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and other developmental and intellectual disabilities. She is known for her holistic approach to care, emphasizing not just the treatment of medical conditions but the overall well-being of her patients and their families. She fosters an environment of curiosity, encouraging her patients and their families to explore and understand their health in a way that promotes long-term wellness.
She understands that good health extends beyond the clinic and hospital, encompassing the broader social and cultural context of her patients’ lives.
