In Queens, NY, she is working on a unique pilot project with the Mayor’s office to better connect Sikh family violence survivors with essential services they may be unaware or unsure about. Her efforts are focused on resharing how gender violence and trauma-related mental health issues are discussed, addressed, and prevented within the Sikh community. Through her work, Harleen is committed to creating safe, supportive, and inclusive spaces for all.
