A monthly donation can cover time sensitive financial needs for survivors, prevention education initiatives and critical training across the U.S. For example:

  • Motel vouchers for a woman having to leave an abusive situation
  • Emergency aid to a family facing homelessness
  • Violence prevention programming - educational resources for Sikh camps
  • Translation costs for critical health and safety resources
  • Travel costs for gurdwara outreach events “Health of a Nation Begins in the Homes of its People”
  • Mental Health & Trauma Recovery awareness and support videos and materials in Punjabi and English

Sikh Family Center is a national nonprofit organization in the U.S. that promotes community well-being with a particular focus on gender justice. We provide trauma-centered resources for victim-survivors of violence while working to change the social and cultural conditions that allow gendered violence to occur in the first place. Our training, outreach, and advocacy are grounded in cultural tradition, grassroots power, and intergenerational healing.
